Child Care Scholarship (CCS)
The Child Care Scholarship (CCS) (formerly known as Child Care Subsidy) Program provides financial assistance with child care costs to eligible working families in Maryland. The program is managed through a centralized vendor — Child Care Scholarship Central 2 (CCS Central 2). See Eligibility and Application
Child Care Tax Credits
Tax credits are more valuable than tax deductions. Most families will be eligible to take the Child or Dependent Care Tax Credit for their tax returns. All of these federal tax credits have rules and limitations, please be sure to consult with your tax advisor about how these benefits can apply to you.
